    When the USB only version is started there will be checked if the intended USB stick has enough free space to build the back-up. If there is less space then 4 times the size of rootfs the program will display a warning and the program will be aborted. The program needs this space to write temporary files for different stages in the process

Made the application more universal and easier to maintain for future models.
Now all supported brands/models are placed in a matrix (lookuptable.txt) with their parameters needed to make a back-up
Now all what has to be done to support a new brand/model is enter the specifics into the lookuptable.txt, an example is show hereunder.
I moved the version (after some internal betaversions) to 16.0 because of the big changes in the code.
All is tested and should work fine

First of all as you will see the skinning is completely changed.

 A full changelog is visible under the info button

 Completed the following languages, many thanks to the contributors: French -Talbs, German - Biki3, Greek - Glamourservices (new translation), Polish - Blzr, Slovak - Dym1, Spanish - Agmuser, Turkish - RogerSSD.
 I'm still looking for translators who can translate into: Italian and Russian

 I added a line after all the translation work, the English text is: "What is new since the last release?". I translated it with googletranslate and added it. If it is not properly translated please let me know what the proper sentence is for your language.

 After installation there will be checked if there are still remains of the old plugin, if the old folder BackupSuite-HDD is present it will be deleted. (There could be left an old speed.txt.opkg or speed.txt.opkg.backup file)
 Replaced the picture of the plugin.
 Played/tested somewhat with the Python code (still heavy learning)

 Added support for the STB Ixuss Zero (thanks Athoik for supplying the data for this receiver)

Here's a little update

- added Italian translation (thanks Xtrendmaster)
- replaced ofgwrite version 1.8 for version 1.9.2
- changed the skinning, moved some png files to the plugin folder so it isn't depending anymore on the Pli-HD skin (I still have to improve it huge!)

 

BTW: Anyone who knows how to shorten the path in the skin, thus replacing /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BackupSuite/ to use in the skin, so only having to type e.g.: <ePixmap pixmap="~/img/red.png" position etc..
I can't get it working properly, I'm overlooking something

- changed the skin so it is more like the skin PLi-HD-FullNight (but not exactly, left some more room at the bottom of the skin)
- some small changes in the code, cleaned it up
- removed the ofgwrite binary from the plugin folder, it is now supplied as a package (on Openpli and all Open Alliance images) and is automatic installed when installing the BackupSuite
- gave the dog a bone and sent the dog to his pillow, in other words I removed the avatar

- Changed the title of the plugin in just: "BackupSuite" and changed the locale files accordingly

The problems still persists in the 3rd-party feed for the et4x00 and et8000. The other models can be updated/upgraded online
 
To update your receiver and the backupsuite:
- remove/uninstall the BackupSuite if there is still an copy installed
- Run an update via the menu
- Copy attached version of the BackupSuite to your receiver to /tmp/
- In telnet give the command

This install the right version, you can't upgrade the backupsuite online until the problems are solved
